ABOUT

Rebecca lives and works on Wurundjeri-Woi Wurrung Country in Naarm/Melbourne. Through her multidisciplinary drawing practice, Rebecca investigates the fluid relationship between translation, place, and materiality. Informed by her ongoing research into New Materialism and Zen Buddhism, her immersive environments challenge conventional ideas of two-dimensional drawing and disrupt linear experiences of time, blending material storytelling with personal reflection and broader cultural inquiry.

Rebecca holds a Master of Contemporary Art from the Victorian College of the Arts (University of Melbourne), where she was awarded the prestigious Stuart Black Memorial Scholarship for excellence in drawing. She also holds a Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of South Australia and has extended her practice through intensive drawing and painting marathons at The New York Studio School.
